Ned Paul, Victor Lesk, Mark Dessain and Kit Jackson invite you to join them for an end of year celebration of bridge at the famous Young Chelsea Bridge Club.

The Young Chelsea has plenty of room for lots of players. There will be food (hot and cold buffet) as well as bridge, and the venue has a bar so if you all come we can have a really convivial Saturday evening. There will be social bridge in parallel with a duplicate bridge tournament for the (somewhat) more adventurous and if you are comfortable with the basics why not join in with that?
We’d like lots of you to come and enjoy the evening, so we have kept the price right down. Tickets are £13 including the bridge and food. We’ll open the doors about 6.0pm. Bridge can start as soon as four players are in and social bridge will continue on an ad hoc basis until late. For the duplicate players we will aim to get the tournament going around about 7.30. You play with the same partner throughout in the tournament so either come double-headed or, since there will be lots of spare players, we can pair you up on the night.
It’s going to be fun! There will be a fair amount of bridge expertise on hand but newbies and learners are just as welcome and the stress will be on the social side of the game rather than the competitive. In addition you’ll be honouring Victor for all his hard work (we’ve checked he is coming!) So what’s not to like?
