I’m a little bit behind posting the outcome of the last two matches of this season’s LBHCBA league matches. And in truth, they didn’t really go our way.
The penultimate match was versus the National Audit Office, who convincingly beat us at Home with a final score of 22:81. Congratulations to the National Audit Office for whom this match sealed their Number One position in Division 5, which will lead to them being promoted back up to Division 4 from whence they came this season. We wish them every success!
The final match was Away versus Buttons C, in a match for the dubious honour of mid-table positioning, but alas, we lost the battle with a rather crushing 106-28 defeat. Well played, Buttons C.
This leaves us finishing in 5th position this season, not quite what we had hope for, but it’s one position up from last year!
So let’s keep climbing and make the 2018-2019 season our best yet.
